    Hi all,

I'm looking for an 04-06 GTO with a six speed as a new daily driver somewhere in the midwest. If you've got one around here, let me know.

    Thanks,

    Jon S.

Autotrader.com is also a great source. That's how I found the '04 GTO A4 I bought 4+ months ago. You will love it when you get it. I know I love mine! I wanted an M6 but when I found this A4 with only 12,200 miles on it for $14,700 I figured I could live with an auto.

I have the 40th Anniversity Edition 2004 GTO with 6 Speed. I think I got lucky that I can actually say I have the last Pontiac Anniversity Edition GTO that they will ever make. I actually can say it been a great car that I have purchased. One recommendation I can make is get the 6 speed version, beside it fun to drive but you can actually get good MPG out of it. I was was thinking of possible selling it this year to purchase another GS. I have only 3,000 miles on it and its never been in the rain! I attached a photo of my GTO.

George, are all 2004's considered 40th anniverary editions or did some have special markings or badges? Plus, take that Goat out and drive it some! :3gears:I thought mine was low miles with only 12,200 miles on it when I got it, but you have me beat by a factor of four. I now have over 18,000 miles on mine and have enjoyed putting every one of them on it. (well, the 6,000 I have put on it). The auto doesn't do quite as well on gas mileage as the M6 but I can get 24-25 mpg on the highway.

There were only two options for the 04 GTO, one was the 6 speed and the other was the 40th Edition option.
The last 500 04 GTO's were 40th Anniversity Edition, it included Pulse Red color, grey colored dash and special colored sticking on the bucket seats. There was no special emblems with the exception of a special 40th Anniversity Edition sticker in the trunk. It was place behind the trunk carpet! I do enjoy my GTO when I can but I also working on my GS.
