Well, I pulled off the data tag, but the VIN tag was still there, but totally corroded and illegible. No one will be faking a RIV GS with this car. Sad state of affairs.

Wow that's crazy, like you guys said at one point this was someones baby and it's hard to tell where it all went to hell. My 72 limited wasn't as in this bad of condition, but as I work on it more and more bad stuff is revealed. Big rust holes in the trunk etc. , but even with the moments of stubborn bolts, bruised and battered knuckles it all feel like it will be worth it in the end. I can't let the old girl down now! At least you guys were able to salvage some stuff and send her off with a good blessing. :TU:

Hey Kenny, really makes you appreciate how we saved your old Wildcat from the same fate. That sat in the driveway and didn't move for I think 3 years... in all kinds of weather. Wouldn't have been long before the thing rotted away.

That might be more why we do this than anything else. Just to save a car's life.

Actually, I bought the car primarily for the rear, so I'm not looking to sell it. Sorry about that. Keep looking and you'll find one!
