    The ad says:

    "3.08 ...Will fit 67-72 GM A body cars"

    This statement I think is incorrect for a Buick. A 1968-70 Buick 8.2 is different and a 71-72 Buick is a 8.5 GM corporate ( except for CAN made).

    He may be right for a 67 Buick.

    Do you think he's refering to the complete axle rather than just the carrier/gears? That's how I read the add, i'm just learning about all the different rear end related stuff.

    i called its not complete or raod ready needs a few parts and rebuild

    Assuming that is the case, the width of a 70 A body rear assembly, drum to drum, is not the same as a 67. Verify that a 70 is wider.

    Good to know, I'm fairly new to this so I'm getting a good education!:)

    I'm just the next town over if anyone is really interested and wants a visual.
