BUY A MOSER 9 INCH HOUSING AND AXLE PACKAGE-1000.00?? go to a wrecker and get 12" brakes from a 73-74 torino wagon, lay the brake drum on the axle (with studs removed) and y0ou can see the little bit of dremelling needed to make the ford drum fit the gm axle-THEN-search the net for a deal on a carrier with locker/posi/gears you want and do the whole deal for 2k or less-I did mine for 1400 in 1991 dollars and it has been exceptional ever since
