Got my Boss 338's and getting ready to install C5/LS1 brakes so no longer need the 14" rally's my skylark has been sitting on. Is there any demand for them?

Ryans-GSX Have fun, life is short.

not much interest in the 14" other than the centers are the same as 15" so if you want to have a set of WG 15" wheels made they are good cores for that. also if they are 1970 wheels they would be the correct center for the GSX and Stage 1 cars

I think specialty wheels pays about 10 bucks each for the cores :Dou: yea I know Cheep ! but like I said not many people around want the 14" wheels

    Hope this helps

I could not give them away at Bowling Green a few years ago, nice ones.

Kind of what I figured...no center caps either unfortunately...

If they made decent tires that fit 14 inch rims it would probably be different.

Price them low and put them on parts for sale. Good as gold. Somebody with a small budget will take them

I sold a set of 4 last year for nearly $200. Of course that included some Uniroyal radials that were in decent condition but the inside of the wheels were pretty rusty. Some guy just happened to need some the week the ad hit Craigslist.

I passed on a set for $40 at a swap meet the spring. I almost bought them for the centers, but I didn't want to use up the storage space....

I have a set that I went and put back on the car after I wore out the tires I had on the '71 Malibu 15" SS wheels I had put on as an inexpensive traction upgrade. In the 5 years I had those old rally wheels, I couldn't unload them even with really good tires. I took the tires off the SS wheels and put them on my wife's van. I can't unload the SS wheels, either. Pathetic. If I really want to upgrade, maybe I will finally break down and send in those decent wheels to make 15s out of them.

They make great spares as the spare tire covers fit better over them than the 15's.

i sold the original 14" rallyes + a good set of bfg t/a tires, 5 years ago for $140.
if i still had them, i would send the wheels out to be refitted with 15" rims.

What year are they actually from? 70? 71? 72? I might be interested in them...

What year are you looking for?? I have one very nice 1970, plus a bunch of 72's that would be ok for wheel center cores...course shipping would be killer...

I believe they're original to my '70 but can verify. I assume there's a date code stamped on the inside somewhere?

If they are nice enough and for lack of a better word "Cheap" I can probably use them on my 70. I just didn't want anything that was on a regal or newer Buick like a lot of them are... So what do you think you would want for them?

I have a set of 4 in storage north of you. What year they are I couldn't tell you though. I think there is a pic of them online, but it may not be good enough to tell. Of course they are in the back of my storage unit as well.
