I'm looking for a set of 15" Buick rallys for my GS. Probably 15x7 front and 15x8 rear. They don't need to be originals. Since my car came with 14" from the factory I'm not going for perfect authenticity so repro are fine. After looking at some old posts it seems like the general consensus is that Wheel Vintiques are not so great and they seem to be the main primary supplier to most vendors. I particularly didn't like the amount of comments related to how their chrome holds up and their questionable customer service. Does anyone have any first hand experience with another supplier or repro rallys (70 style if it makes a difference)?

I have 2 complete sets of Buick Rallye wheels. 4- 15 X 7", and 4- 15 X 8" wheels. I bought the first set from Sumitt, they were Wheel Vintiques, and I bought them at least 12 years ago. The chrome is mint on them, and I have never had a problem with rusting. My car rarely sees rain, and it lives in a garage that has no major temperature swings. That is not to say that the Wheel Vintiques wheels they sell today don't have a chrome problem. With the way things are out sourced today, quality may have slipped, I don't know.

The second set, I got from Then and Now Auto. I can't remember if T&N got them from Stockton Wheel, or Specialty Wheel. It was 6 years ago or more, don't remember. Again, no chrome finish problems. Give Mark Reeves a call at Then and Now. He might be able to advise you further.

Thanks for the info. I really appreciate the first hand opinions. These will give me something to ponder over the weekend. Knowing me I'll probably go with whatever is in stock and can get now...I'm impatient. :Dou:
