they are the closet I've seen to my originals. Not peefect but the next best thing. I wouldn't mind having those as a extra set ! Look at my avatar. That picture was taken in June of 71'

Korrie, I don't remember what I used years ago but they were a set of reproduction rings. The rings come if different depths so you will need to determine which ones you need. Once they and the hub caps are installed there is only a small amount of "wheel" that shows through. Duane
Korrie. 9796696 is the correct part number for the original 15" plain steel wheel. GM rings have been obsolete for a few years now, and NOS rings command high prices. There are repops available, but the Chinese rings aren't right. There are USA made repops available as well, and are alleged to be better, but I have not seen them first hand. I think they can be purchased form Heartbeat City who also sell NOS rings for $244 each. Be careful ordering the rings in the Ebay listing. The last time All American Classics had these listed I was very confused by their listing, so I sent them a question. I asked if I entered 1 in the quantity box, how many rings would I recieve? They answered one. If you read the text it clearly states that a set of four trim rings is priced at $235, but the "buy it now" is structured so that four rings will cost $940. I complained to Ebay that the listing was deceptive, but they did nothing.
Thanks for all the suggestions, guys. Looks like the "Sport Wheels" will an expensive option now. More $$ than the car was new and that's a fact. Dog Dish....check. Trim Rings.... 15" rims.... Repro G60-15.... My wife may just "kill me dead."
