has anyone tried fitting some 15x10 wheels on a centurion/big body car before? i have some that fit with the right off set that look like the dukes of hazard style and i was wondering if anyone has tried this before? also is it easy to take out the studs for longer ones? the aluminium flange on the wheels is alot bigger than the steel wheels?

    thanks

Wish I could help, but all I can say is that I like those old style wheels. Do you know the name of them by any chance? Also, what parts of Tx are you in?

Cool! Gonna have to meet up someday. Are you coming out to the meeting at the Dixie Diners this Saturday?

Any info on the swap meet?

    Thanks!

    wheels

back in the late 70's and early 80's every wheel mfg 'r made that type of wheel . by the look of the center i'd say they are western wheel 's . called the huricane I . their huricane II 's had more fins. i have a some of these and have had some americans racing 's . nice wheels . most american racing 's were uni-lug , where western's were drilled . the mfgr should be cast in the inside of the wheel . drum/rotor side

Mark-to your questions. I don't know if you'll be able to run that wide a wheel/tire or not, but I don't think you will need longer studs. These wheels 'register' with the 5 1/2x20 lug nuts- they are run into the holes with a flat washer-not the tapered seat type-and will give you a tight fit between the wheel and studs. -

Could always get the right lugnuts, then go down to a used tire shop and purchase 2 used tires of the size your looking for, for real cheap to test the fit.

where would i get lug nuts like those? and after further inspection it looks like they will fit good - just need to drop it off the jack stands and check the rears :Brow:

btw - would i be able to fit 245 on that rim or is that to small?
