I just got some stock 15 X6 Rally wheels for my 68 Wildcat conv. Does anyone know what is the largest/ widest tire I can use safely on these rims? Also Im thinking of going with a radial whitewall - any reccomendations? (brand etc) Thank you
235 is about the widest tire for a 6" rim, either 235/70/15 or 235/75/15. I have seen a wider tire on those wheels (BFG Radial T/A, 255/60, I think) and the sidewall was a little cone shaped. And on a '68, the fender skirt clears a 235 but not by much. Patrick.
