I'm going to buy a set of 15x7" Repro Rally rims for my '71 GS 350 Convertible.

What tire size would you recommend, 245/60's or 255/60's?

    Which will handle/drive/perform better?

    Thanks

I have 15x7 Buick rally rims on the front of my car and 15x8 Buick rally rims on the rear of my car with 255/60s all around. They fill the wheelwells nicely and handle great!

    I vote 255s as well.

I have heard that the 245/60's are close to the original tire size height and won't mess up with speedo reading, but I don't know if that is true or not. It is the most popular size for A-body's as it fits most of the years without trouble.

    Thanks for the replies.

What width should I buy, 7" or 8"? What is the difference (beside 1")?

Should I go with a chrome or matte finish? Which was stock?

    Which backspacing do I want?

    Where should I buy?

    Thanks again
