16" Armrest Backing Plates

I'm looking for a set of decent condition 16" Armrest Backing Plates for the 70-72 GS.

 

What color?

 

The chrome plastic backing plates that go behind the armrest bases.

 

Do you have an existing pair? If so, you can get them rechromed for $50-60/pr.

 

Unfortunately no, I just have the bases

 

I have a set from a 68... don't know if they are the same.
If you are interested, I will take pictures.

please do, I think the 68-72 are the same

The 68 backing plates are different. They have a ribbed aluminum piece attached near the front, that the 69-70 pieces do not have.

...and the area that the ribbed alum piece covers is inset so the alum piece sits flush. Someone needs to put a 68 chrome base behind a 16" armrest to see how well the armrest covers this feature. It may be that it is unnoticeable but I haven't checked. Patton
