    Will 4 1/2 inch back spacing work with a 17X8 wheel on a 66 Skylark??....front and rear?

Yes James, they will work fine, I just put some on my car and the back spacing was dead on!

Sup George....I'm running 255/45/17 on the rear and 245/45/17 on front, (the fronts are 1/4 shorter and 1/4 narrower) its tight on the rear, I did trim the quarter lip back to match the lip width of the wheel opening trim just to be sure, you know how the rear end isn't totaly centered in these things, over just a bit to the left so it was tight, no problems now with rubbing, now I had a bad problem in the front with rubbing but new springs from NAPA fixed that. I'm running Camaro front spindles so my car is proubly just a tad lower in the front. :TU:

So they might rub on my convertible, theres 2 choices 4.5 backspacing or 6" backspacing with 17x8 wheels?

    Thanks
