Come across these wheels on Ebay. Ridler675P, 17"x9.5", with a minus (-5) offset and 5.05" backspacing. I like the appearance of these wheels and I'm considering buying a set of 4 for my 71GS. Anyone familiar with these wheels? Will the -5 offset and /or the 5.05" backspacing be problematic? Any input will be appreciated.
A 10" wide wheel will want 5 1/2- 5 5/8" back spacing to center the wheel in the wheel well so that wheel will have less room on the outside than inside. Optimal back spacing for a 9 1/2" wheel will be 1/4" less so it really needs 5 1/4- 5 3/8" back spacing.
I cant find his post, but a member just put some on his car (believe it was a 66)..Read a lot about em when I had my 95 Impala SS..(there is a lot of info about the wheels there)..I like em a lot also, but end up going with these instead MB Old School wheels..
