Parting out my 4 door sedan, 1955 Buick Special. NC titled car if anyone wanted a frame/body starting point for a project. Unfortunately all that is left of the running gear is the intake, carb, exhaust manifold, air breather, valve covers, and distributor. (all for sale). The rest of the car is here in Charlotte, NC. I will follow forum rules for the parting out, including the first come/ first serve rule, as determined by public thread replies. I want to play fair. As for pricing I've been researching things online as people request an item. I try to be lower than the online average. I am always open to negotiate or trade for something I need (value dependent of course). It was a hard decision to part this car out, but I know it will help other Buicks (including one of my own) get back on the road and be enjoyed. So far I have used/sold/promised the following: right front fender inner and outer (sheet metal only) bullet holes and stainless still available, hood (sheet metal only) "buick" letters and hood ornament still available, entire grill and bumper assembly, Speaker Grill, steering wheel horn ring, heater controls, fuse panel, clock, parking brake mech., trunk emblem, tail light lenses, cig lighter, vent window regulators. I will update the list as it goes and once I reach a tipping point I will list what's left! Remember to express your interest on here before PM'ng me. Thanks, Matt
Update on the list... The front coils and brake assemblies are gone. The upper control arm from the driver's side is also gone. The center dash panel, radio, antenna, and extra 2bbl carb are now sold.
The wheels are in good shape, the tires are just yard rollers....they are mismatched and don't hold air for long...
he needs them as rollers do that would be perfect, his 54 is currently sitting on MY 1973 rally wheel and worn out tires and I need them back! But this way he would have correct vintage wheels for his car, what would you need to get for them?
can you re send the PM, I apparently let my box get full, that has been taken care of now. Sorry about that, I'm usually on top of it
Gents, this car is now gone. All I have left is a bent frame, a rear axle, rear seat, and some brake parts.
