Look similar to the Invicta the roofline is a little different, the Invicta has a little smoother flow to the roofline .

What a moron seller. I hate these ads, can't take the time to spell Invicta and the ever present uniquitous "has a Power glide" comment, asks for a 75% profit but infers urgency by saying ', must sell, need space.'

Invictas would be my preference now, over an Electra. My Electra I owned - they describe these bubbletops as semi- bubbletops. This senior body was shared with the Cadillac.

The Invicta with bucket seats and mini console, with a 401, was a fast car. This particular Invicta if I am looking at it right - has only power steering, not even power brakes.

The fact that the car is in primer, the engine has some glitzy parts and new wires on an otherwise stock or original build, and the interior being apart tells me that this is a project that has gone off the rails. Reasons possibly are; - cost, marital woes, insurmountable mechanical problem requiring lots of time or cash to fix. Caveat Emptor...

There is just so little interest in projects. For every 100 offered like this, one is being restored.

Part of it has to do with the fact that just about everyone who offers up a "project car" seems to think it was made out of gold, or has "good potential", and they expect you to pay accordingly for the privilege of them tearing it apart and losing the good and rare parts. Invariably a person can find a complete and unmolested "barn find" that hasn't been haphazardly taken apart for a lot cheaper.
And then of course is simple economics. Unless a guy does all of his own work, a car like this can run into the 6 figures before ever turning a wheel; and all the while it's taking up space and making the yard look ugly. How many marriages can survive that?
