I have this '63 Buick, i started on this project at the beginning of the year, the Nailhead was not really running. I got a 350 combo and having getting it together over the last few months, i cut the floor for the the tranny, i cut off the frame mounts for the nailhead. im about to get the engine in place and make new frame mounts, tranny mount etc. I bagged the rear a few weeks ago, viair, firestone bags, yadda yadda. This car is on the verge of running, and will make a really nice 60's bellflower cruiser, the body is really straight, the interior is all there, the headliner is great, the seats need the blankets . .... .. . .. .. Anyways, I found another car i really want, im torn between finishing the Buick and cruising it for the summer or selling it as a project and moving on. I have a rebuilt, never run 350 SBC and tranny, rebuilt by friends and guranteed to be a strong running drivetrain, this Buick was gonna be my daily, hence the rebuilt combo. i have the back of the buick bagged, it slams pretty fast and sits a few inches off the ground. I could sell the project 3 ways : The body - $1200 W/ bags - $1700 W/ Rebuilt drivetrain - we'd have to work something out for that one Heres some pics of the car, the bottom pics are of a couple of cars that inspired me to get this Buick. My plan was to run straight pipes, bellflower tips, supremes [ of course ], and go with a candy apple green and flake the roof, the car will be killer, this deal with the other car i have my eyes on may not work out, but either the Buick is gonna be bitchen. Im getting started on this early as i need money for this other project, sorry guys no trades - money is what i need right now thanks for looking Email for further info : lgh1157@yahoo.com
Partner, You just killed the value of that car with the 350 in it. I recommend you finish it off and sell it, you won't get anything for it in pieces. Wow....
