Be very cautious on what you buy. Several guys have bought new brake drums/shoes online to find out they actually do NOT fit and work.

To my knowledge their is no reproduction shoes/drums for the front. Fronts are wider than rears. Their supposedly is for the rear if you find a supplier that has the correct ones. Several guys have sent their original/old shoes in and had them relined (back in the day ALL brake shoes were relined by mechanics).

A friend of mine was just telling me a couple of weeks ago the best way to redo old shoe/drum brakes. 1st you turn your drum till its smooth (as long as they are still turnable), 2nd you take your bare brake shoe (thats the shoe with the brake pad removed) and you make it fit nice and flush tight to the inside of your freshly turned drum (or new drum) you may need a press to reshape it slightly, once that fits good then you rivet your new lining on!

He also told me that drum brakes done that way will stop a vehicle just as quick as disk brakes.
