1963 LeSabre: how to lift with the new lift I bought?

    I just bought this lift. Once the car is over the lift, there is not enough room to get to the rear suggested jacking points. They're too far inboard. Are there other points on the car that would work with this lift, that is, closer to the rocker panels?

    The shape of the X-frame is the problem, what if you use a long piece of wood at the rear of the lift and two small blocks (to keep the car level) at the front?

    I have considered that, using a 4x4. I don’t have the car here, it’s in the shop. Do the frame mounting points sit lower than the rocker panel?

    Just use a 4x4 and put some rubber blocks on top of it at the lift points. That's what I do with my lift when the lift points are too close together.
