1964 and '66 300 V8 rocker arm shaft assembly interchangeable?

Can I use the '66 rocker assembly on the '64 aluminium heads?
The Shaft from the 64 is rough and has grooves. The 66 Shaft ist smooth.
The rocker arms had different numbers but looks the same.
Is there any difference, like Rocker arm ratio?

 

61-63 215 and 64-67 300 and 340 rocker arms and shafts all interchange. Actually the 198 and 225 V6 rocker arms interchange. Compare all the rockers for wiggle. IN and EX rockers are handed. Pushrod cups offset slightly. New steel tips are available from T/A.
