    Hi all,

I am looking to sell my 300 2bbl engine complete but have no idea what its worth, is 750 bucks out of the question?. The link below is to a youtube video of the cold start up. I am in Martinez Ca 94553. The engine is still in the car so it can be seen running and test driven and then pulled.

    Thanks

    Kelly

You didn't mention how many miles or anything about the condition. Does it smoke or burn oil? Videos are hard to make determinations like this but I hear what sounds like some lifter noise. Just for the sake of comparison, I sold my original 300 2bbl. for $300 complete with transmission and all the brackets and accessories but minus the a/c compressor. It had 143,800 miles on it. It ran pretty good but not perfect, possibly needed a valve job. The oil pressure was a little low for my taste but was adequate. It leaked oil, had some lifter noise, basically just old and tired and eventually in need of a rebuild.

I have that same 1964 engine forsale with the SP Super Turbine Tranny, that I just pulled it out a few weeks ago and have it forsale at $500.00 with no takers , lots of lookers though. It ran great, but I have a second engine that may be lower mileage.

Sorry all the odometer is at 95000 it does not leak tons of oil it runs strong for a 48 year old motor no idea what the oil pressure is at. no smoke.
