    sbbuick My driving scares people!

My brother's 1964 Buick Wildcat coupe is for sale. It is a 56k mile original car with buckets and console. 425 V8, dual exhaust. Runs fine and can be driven anywhere. Some slight rust in places but nothing major. Floors and trunk solid. Car is totally original except for non factory headliner.

Car was featured heavily in the indie film "bride of the Undead". Visit www.brideoftheundead.com for more info and to see pics and trailer of the film with the car.

He's asking $6500 for it. For more pics or info you can call him at 386-383-2717 or e-mail mbonazzoli@yahoo.com. Car is located at my house in Daytone Beach, FL 32117.

    Nice one!

That is a nice one, movie star or not.
That silver and black is a great looking combo.
Is the top painted or vinyl? Looks to be paint.
Does anyone know when the first vinyl tops appeared on Buicks?
Not a bad price either. :TU:

To answer the question on vinyl tops. The first vinyl tops did appear on Buicks in 1964 but this one is painted. I have only seen one with the vinyl before and I like this better. The faux convertible ribline dissapears under the vinyl and I think that's the best feature of the roof...other than the Wildcat emblems.

I just wanted to drop a line and say that the Wildcat sold for $6500 over the weekend.

Kevin is correct. My father is the original owner of a 1962 Wildcat and it has a very unusual long-grain vinyl top. A Buick first.:TU:
