This belongs to an elderly gentleman in Collingswood, N.J. He is asking $1500 for it with everything you see plus an extra set of (4) 15" rims (seen along the fence) from an early 80's Riviera. The car has Power seat, windows, antennae and brakes as well as A/C. It is in very rough shape but it looks to be all there. The car was driven to where it sits about 20 yrs. ago and the motor has a bottom end (rod) knock. The bumpers are under the tarp along the fence.

Yea not bad. Lot of good parts there if someone needs them for a project. If someone was restoring a car its probably worth it for donor though not if body parts are needed. Check out that set of honkers! I've seen those sell easily for over $500 with brackets and wiring and as much as $700 if detailed.
If someone wanted to buy to part and make money probably have to be in the $700-$800 range. If the engine isn't stuck at least $1200. Should be a 425 if original. I suspect it won't last long

OK V-8 Buick People: Unless you don't care about makin' mud pies (I personally like making mud pies) always consider the purchasing of the parts car. $1,500? Top dough for this mama. Add transportation and what ever you need to do to get it where it is and the cash register starts ca-chinging.

The alternative? See what you have. More often with First-Gen Rivieras parts are best purchased individually. They are usually readily available. This way you can purchase the part to your satisfaction rather than be stuck with many of the same busted and rusted up parts you already have.

The other down side is that storage. Not many have it and it can be very expensive to keep. The finally is that at the end of the project you will need to dispose of it. Scrap at this time is almost nuthin'.

What would one of these be worth if it had zero rust...98% straight sheet-metal, good glass and very good moldings/grille/bumpers? Just a shell not factoring in the interior or drivetrain...

No engine or transmission... Needs carpet and headliner, package tray-dash good enough for a driver. All ancillary trim/exterior in good condition...sheet metal 98% strait per initial post ...1964...worthy of a new interior, but not necessary, easily slicked out for paint...vehicles is white on black .Closest thing to rust on the car is surface rust on the undercarriage...non power windows.

OK 455: A good start. Still needs a motor, tranny, paint, interior, detailing. All money. To the person who has a lo-mileage rust bucket, a good drive train, interior....AND the skill set, it's a match made in heaven for a grand.

The only reason I was curious is because I have every single solitary part at my house to put that car together. Mama said no more cars so I'm reluctantly out but...if you price it right with legit paperwork and a good presentation it will sell quickly.

My blurb I run on Craig's list.... http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/pts/5520885666.html Mitch
