I would love to buy it but i no longer work Law Enforcement. As far as i know you either need a special permit to own one of these cars or be currently employed or retired LEO. Something to look into. A couple friends of mine have old cop cars who are LEO's and another friend of mine had to go through hoops to get permission to own one because he is not LEO. This only applies to cars fully lettered with lights and radio's though. Otherwise anyone can buy an old cop car. My former boss picked up a mid 80's Monte Carlo SS "drug repo/dare car" from County auction yrs ago that was still lettered and badged with the County badge/dare stickers. He was suppose to remove the stickers but didnt bother. He had it a week and got a fistful of tickets with it, one was for impersonating a cop.He had to hire an attorney to fight his way out of that.
