Ultimate Wildcat??? https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/cars-for-sale/buick/wildcat/2254528.html Location: St. Augustine, Florida, 32080 VIN #: 6K1169021 Mileage: 83,285 Transmission: Manual Condition: Excellent Exterior: Diplomat Blue Interior: Blue Seller’s Description: 1964 Buick Wildcat Convertible. Super Wildcat package (Dual Quad - with correct numbered Carter carburetors front and rear). This is a very special car. A factory 4-Speed Hurst manual transmission ragtop (VIN#6K1169021). This car documented by the Sloan-Longway Museum in Michigan, which holds Buick's historical production records, as "1 of 26" convertibles fitted with a factory installed Hurst 4-Speed transmission. Those records do not keep track of color and interior combinations - so there is no telling how many of the 26 were blue-on-blue (suffice to say it was way fewer than 26). It is clad in a stately Diplomat Blue (original to the car), with the matching blue "Custom" Trim-level interior, and is flagged by four factory correct "Formula 5" wheels (1964 model year-only) at each corner. Original owner records document this car's purchase on May 21, 1964 from the Buick Dealership (Swanberg & Scheefe - Minneapolis MN). This vehicle completed a nearly 4-year frame-off restoration in 2018 with over $120K invested. No expense was spared. Call for more details. Price = $62,500 Matt Wilson 919-607-8032. Price: $62,500
Yes! with the forward facing 4 spd! Beautiful, one of my alltime favorites and about twice my budget, maybe three times....
Oooh...ahhh...oh no, I just might have made a mess... So there's the dream Wildcat...it's one I've always wanted and was always just a little outside of what I could pay for it. Oh well... What a stunning car!
You ALL have NO IDEA what Matt went through to get to this level. I must say it is OVER & ABOVE what was done!!!! WELL WORTH THE $$$$$ & probably 2 to 3x more than asking $$$$ Tom T.
If I had a place to put it, I would buy it right now. I would make sure Matt's commitment to bring the car to this level known at every opportunity. And I would leave my estate, specific instructions, on how it were passed on.
