64 Buick Wildcat, black and white 2 tone, red original interior.

numbers matching 401 nailhead v8, 4barrel carb (just rebuilt).

    original transmission, just rebuilt.

    brand new paint, clearcoat,

very classic, very cool car sits low, goes very fast.

    great brakes, great tires.

minor rust body work ground out and rebuilt in dura glass.

    yet to do:

go through the dashboard electrical and the lights, gas gauge and signal lights de corroded and functional.

this car sat for ten years under a car cover and it got moldy inside. I have cleaned it up and rebuilt the door panel driver's side. It is pretty well cleaned up, but the dash electrical still needs going through.

exterior lights are functional, turn signals and headlights, brake lights, tailights. new bulbs.

reaching the finished stage of being brought back to life. This car is a driver, not a trailer queen

steering wheel in last picture has been restored and is not yet installed. will be included installed in sale.

I thought this was a steal at that price but after reading the seller description I’ve changed my mind. Looks nice in the pics though.

This one really looks sweet at first glance, but when he said it was mouldy; - oh yeah, alarm bells, there's a ton of work waiting.
It would be a very nice car for someone to strip down and clean it right out.

I had to deodorize the interior I put in the Wildcat and it was no big deal, but I didn't have to worry about cleaning up the electrics, cleaning out the switches with contact cleaner etc. time consuming for sure. probably easier to find good used stuff. Almost certainly the heating system blend/fresh air doors will be seized with stuck cables and controls. I've fixed all this stuff on other restos and it's not too bad, just go system by system and try not to bust anything along the way. Would be more interesting at $10,000.
Guy deserves some credit for being honest about the condition of the car.

At $10,000 CDN it would be very interesting...
The 64 is probably one of the most desired year of Cat; it has the smaller body, the more modern lines and it's the first year for road wheels. I'd happily trade my 67 Wildcat convertible for one of those loaded out like that.
