I'm not a Wildcat specialist, or any kind of specialist for that matter, but that looks to be a clean car.
It'd be the right one to go for, it's got "collectible " status, it's a smaller wheelbase than the later ones, it's pretty solid and it's cheap, who could ask for anything more?
But it's easy enough to find the parts and eventually make it one! It's probably easier to find the proper bits for one of those than it would be for the later years.
