    Pete,
I was told it's a 67 shroud and will not fit the 65/66? Anyone else know??

  3. 67 is one year only unless your installing a 455 in a 64-66 then it will fit those as well

Take a GOOD look as those pics. Unless the photo is reversed, the fan offset is towards the passenger side. A 400 shroud would have the offset to the drivers side as the water pump on the 400 is not directly over the crank pulley. Have not checked the p/n, but that sure looks like a 300/340 shroud to me. :Do No:

  6. I would pull the trigger on this one but i noticed something funny in the pictures.. it looks like the shroud is deformed

Isn't that a nailhead Gs shroud? Looks different than my 67

I think your right mine doesn't have that offset at all, I guess it doesn't look like a 67 400. I would get some sort of clarification on this one, I have no idea what the nailhead shrouds look like

Weren't the 65/66 GS verticle flow radiators while the 67 was a cross flow. Seem like the shrouds would be different?:Do No:

  10. Bob, all 65-66 GS cars had crossflow cooling. in fact all 66 skylarks had crossflow cooling and mid 65 on all skylarks had it as well

The part number listed in the add is 1372784 which is correct for 3000-4000 series less the GS, so that makes the part a Special or Skylark fan shroud.
The GS part number would be 1372617.
It took me about three years to find a shroud that was not cracked and in good shape. I paid $1500 for a whole GS A/C equipped car and everything that I need to convert was in excellent shape. Sold the core support that was in really good shape to Anthony about two years ago. Good luck finding one in good shape and is not cracked. I have been looking for a shroud in good shape for my Wildcat now for more than a year and a half.

Scott and John are correct.... than pn is for 300/340.
The 65-66 GS has the wider radiator side tank on the drivers side, so the circular part of the shroud would overlap the tank on the drivers side, not the pass side as the pictures show.

I have used a 300 shroud on my 66 GS. I had to turn it upside down, and trim about an inch from the circular portion to decrease it's depth.
