Not mine, but has corrected tailshaft housing so could be a 65 Gran Sport trans.

That's a good price if all the gears are good. I've seen them priced for about double that.

I paid $500 for a 65 GS T10 last spring.

 

That's the same trans they started using in the Chevys in 57, good for 350 Hp.

65 Gran sport T-10 had special gears that were stronger, all were close ratio and to my understanding were offered as a aftermarket replacements

Not a bad deal. Maybe prices are falling as more people go with overdrives like the TKX.

 

More so prices are dropping on these older parts because,..the guys that would be interested in them have passed on,....that's why the older iron is dirt cheap now,...
