Good looking car. Would like it if they had more (and interior) pics.

How do you legally transfer ownership?

I bought my '68 with no title, (from NY to FL) only bill of sale and registration.
Florida DMV put eyeballs on the VIN and issued me a FL title and tag in 15 minutes.

I moved to Arkansas and retitled all of my vehicles. (cuz, that's what they do here)

Some states are the same, and others are different, so it depends on what documentation the owner has and what the buyer's state will allow.

Bill of sale and valid registration? I know NY has a transferable registration that I used to transfer ownership of my Trans Am to me a couple years ago.

Wisconsin has a signed off transfer of title - at least that is my experience. But like TrunkMonkey said, the potential buyer would have to first check their state DMV regarding what is needed to transfer ownership lacking a title, and then ask the seller has what the buyer's state requires.

If memory serves, NY did not issue titles until 73 or 74. For vehicles older than that, you just signed over your registration to the new owner.
