I like it. Wish it were closer. I would drive that car everyday except in the wintertime up here. A new interior, probably a different steering wheel. Definitely get rid of that ugly shifter, convert the column for a 3 speed automatic and it's perfect.
I had a 75 cadillac fleetwood years ago with the 500 ci engine, man that car would haul ass. I can only imagine what it would be like in a car 1/2 the weight! Keith
Years ago fella at the local track had a stock 500 shortblock with 472 heads and a Edelbrock intake and 950 Carb in a Gbody malibu wagon full weight car would run 6.90s , if you put the 472 heads on the 500 the Compression gets to almost 12 to 1 iirc
