I have a complete 1965 Skylark GS, correct four-speed, 401 (correct engine), all linkage, etc. Vehicle runs and drives nice with the exception of some vibration at 55 mph, that I will fix. Problem is it is under a 1965 El Camino Body. Solution, I find a 1965 GS that has been abused by installing a Chebby engine and tranny, preferrably a 350 with an overdrive automatic. I reunite the Buick parts by dropping the GS body on my existing frame and put the Chevy engine in another frame I have with the Elky body and I'll have two cool vehicles and sell one, the Chebby! So if you know of a raped GS that needs a transplant, let me know.

I'm not in a hurry, so I can wait until the right car comes along. I could see removing a 455 and putting it in the elky. :Brow:

    wheelz 'B' is for Buick.

Hi Kurt...IF..for any reason you sidestep your original dream and decide to sell the 65 Buick 4 speed drivetrain setup..LOOK NO FURTHER for a more-than-honest cash buyer. I have a 65 GS 4 speed convertible in need of serious restoration... however, some of the original 4 speed parts are missing in action and the parts/pieces I have, are not in the best of shape. SO a complete 4 speed setup would be awesome! Please keep me in mind! :TU: and GOOD LUCK on your search! Wheelz, Tampa Bay

    Joe, no problem!

Kurt, as Joe stated, it's karma! Check this car out.
The car looks like it's all there sans engine/trans.

I will call him tomorrow. Car is half way across the county..... Of course, my elky came from Utah, which isn't much closer. Thanks guys for looking out for me. Kurt
