I have a 1965 Buick Skylark G.S. that i bought in 1976 from a towing company. Back in my younger years i, as well as many others here had no idea of what the values would be in the future. The original motor was exploded in 1979 and i replaced it with a 401 out of a 65 electra. iI drove this car summers until 1987 and by then the Maine salt had set in so i bought a 1965 G.S out of So.Car. Over the next 3 years i did a frame-off using a replacement rust-free frame and body. I replaced the r.r. quarter with an nos one i purchased in Carlisle, Pa. The one i took off the car had a quarter -size hole [ if i had only known !! ]. I also put on both front nos fenders. I also put in a 425 Wildcat motor and dual quads. This has the air cleaner and finned covers. Both bumpers were done at Tri-City. The headliner, Sail panels, and visers are new. The tailights are near mint, not pitted, The back-up lights are very good. I have the original wire hub caps as well as the rally wheels that are on the car. The interior is red.The original steering wheel has been restored. This is a solid rust-free driver. It has a trans leak after it sits a week. The door panels are original and in good shape. The seats were recovered in 84 and the color and grain are a little off,but not bad. I have had this 30 years and know every bolt. $25,000 Thanks, Gary
