Mostly there... Not mine https://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/cto/d/van-nuys-65-buick-riviera/7034836417.html Selling my project car. Numbers matching 401 Nailhead engine, rebuilt by Valley Head Service. I started working on this car years ago, but go in over my head. After getting married, and having a kid I just don't have the time or money. I want to see her go to a good home. This is a fantastic project for someone. The body is in very good shape. Interior is very nice as well. The wood paneling needs to be replaced but the upholstery is in overall all great shape. I had the engine rebuilt by valley head service (full receipts and build docs available). I put $6000 into that alone. It has a leaking power steering pump but I have the factory replacement. The carburator (Rochester 4 barrel), is sticking and I think needs to be cleaned. Two of the wheels have cracks and loose air after a while. I had them filled with resin a while ago, and while it helped they still loose air after a few days. I have a trunk load of spare parts. I pulled the AC out but still have all the parts so that it can be rebuilt. Radiator was acid washed. Heater core needs to be pulled and acid washed as well. Currently I have it bypassed. This car was a beast before I rebuilt the engine. I could spin the tires for days, it was awesome. I have the original owners manual (with protecto plate), original black license plates, buick hub caps. Email me for more info. I no longer live in Los Angeles but will be down this coming weekend, December 13-15 and can arrange to show the car.
Here again, this would be a nice project; - however, there are no interior shots, so just how shot is the interior?
Listing has a few interior shots and looks pretty decent. https://losangeles.craigslist.org/sfv/cto/d/van-nuys-65-buick-riviera/7034836417.html
I like the plate! Reading the Elon Musk book about Tesla and SpaceX, It mentions a RUD event when the prototype rocket engines would explode. Stood for: "Rapid Unscheduled disassembly"
