OK, this is the car that any Buick nut should be dreaming about, I know that it's my dream car! Wish I had the cash but since I don't I'll pass this on and hope that I get to see it at a car show. It's in Olympia Washington.
I don't know anything about the car, but it sounds pretty good. If it's numbers matching it sounds like a great deal.

I got some pictures from the guy today. I wish I could sell the 67 for enough to buy this car, and in time to buy this car.
Of all the Buick muscle cars out there, this is the one at the top of my list.

I sent the guy a couple emails. Sounds like a nice enough guy. Wish I could sell what I have to fund something like that. From what I can see in the pic's, their is a relay on the drivers fender for something, it has later Rally wheels, and the dual quad intake, other than that it looks stock. I don't mind the intake or the wheels as a way to stray from stock.
The wife keeps saying "Sell the 67 so you can buy that one", but I know how these things work. I end up with neither a 67 or a 65.
I hope if someone from this board buys it I get a ride in it!

Dang! your dream came true! And shipping it over there wasn't cheap either.

    David-

I spoke with Jeff last night about this car. It is not a numbers matching motor or tranny. He does have the original tranny though. The relay on the fender is stock for 65 and 66 gs for sure. I don't know about the later years. The dual quad intake and carb setup would be alot of fun even though it's not stock.

sell the dual quad setup for a couple grand, and youve still got a badass buick.

Non numbers matching and all, it's a very cool car that I would love to figure out how to get ahold of! The dual quad intake is pretty easy to spot as not stock, but it would be a lot of fun!

After I get home from my little fourth of July trip on Tuesday night, I'll check up on this car.
If it isn't sold, I may try and sell my car or come up with any other creative method that I can think of (nothing comes to mind right now) to come up with money.
A 65 GS is exactly the car that I would have if I had my choice, and not being all stock isn't too bad of a thing some times. My 67 is all stock and a pretty uncommon car, so I don't do anything to enhance it. With this car you can enjoy it and feel a little more free to build it into a stock looking tire burning nailhead monster.
I would have a garage stall insulated and heated before winter got here. Nothings too good for a 65.

    Thanks for the additional info!

65 is my favorite, and a 65 GS is my ultimate car. I will have a 65 built to run, and when a fair price on one without the 300 in it comes along it makes me go a little nuts.
Well, the wife thinks a lot nuts. Thank god she likes the 65 best too.
I will be looking at a 63 on Monday though! It's a $1500 project with the stock little aluminum power plant, and since he's not advertising right now, and I would have to work things out to get it and make a road trip to pick it up, I don't have to worry about how it could screw up the finances on the 65.
I'm also going to look at a 65 Sportwagon on Friday I think. Factory 3 speed manual on the column. Motor's shot but a solid car. I may look at a 56 on Sunday too.
Got to plan a vacation trip based on cars that I can look at!
None of those cars would matter if I could figure out how to make this car work though.

Not for pepping you up, but my 65 is my baby and everyone in their chevys and mopars are getting something to think about when you fire it off. I am about to put roller rockers and a 3.23 on mine and I think it wont be less more amusing to drive:Brow: and on top of that 65 is just after my opinion the best looking Buick ever. Go get it and build your dream car. If I not had 3 cars already and it not would cost me $3500 just to bring it over here I would rip it away from you guys over there.

    I couldn't agree more Jim.
If the car is around still by the 8th, I may try and sell my car or see if there is any other way I can come up with the money while not putting a crunch on the family.
The trick is going to be keeping track of this car so that I don't end up with neither by selling mine an hour later than he sells this.
