Are those for the clamshell headlights? Q) Says TH400 transmission - factory? Was this the first year for it in the Riviera?
Brian, window motors are electric, as are the clamshell operators. In my '63, all the heater controls were also cable operated, and I'm assuming a '65 would be the same. There was a cable operated on/off valve for coolant flow on my car...The TH400 (ST400) came out in '64, '63 was the Dynaflow.
Clamshell headlights doors and windows are electric. The optional boot release and door locks are vacuum operated. The heater door is opened by a vacuum diaphragm (green circle) In the red circle there's the vacuum storage tank: There is also a water valve diaphragm (yellow) on the engine:
