This came with my 65 Skylark Hardtop and I won't be using it. It's the type 1 style with an emblem but no lock/button (NOT the ironing board style). No rips/tears/splits in the top, however, the sides are separating from the foam a little. I suspect that this can be re-glued but I'll let the new owner have fun with that (personally, I'd use it 'as-is'). There is a slight dimple in the chrome but it's not distracting and I doubt that most observers would even notice. The emblem is pretty nice with bright colors. Overall, probably better than average for an original. I'll get pictures if there is interest, otherwise it's off to fleabay by Sunday. $275 + shipping from 98032 Cheers Jeff ~
Jeff, Getting the sides in is an easy fix. Loose up the screws on the bottom side and lay it on its side and puish down. Both sides will go and tighten them up. It will look like new!
