1965 Skylark column shift red needle question

Awhile back I removed a column shift column from my 1965 Buick Special. Now I want to put it in my 1965 Skylark that has a tilt that needs work. I started preparing to make the swap, checking that I had all the necessary parts, etc. Then I discovered that I don't have the set screw that holds the red needle in place and I am not sure if that is all I need. Looks like there might be another part for fastening the red needle besides a set screw. I don't want to remove the existing column until I am sure I can replace it right away.

So my question is: Do I only need a set screw? Is there another part that goes between the set screw and the needle? And, is the set screw the same on a tilt and a non-tilt column? If it is I will just proceed and use the set screw from the column that is in the Skylark now.

    TrunkMonkey Totally bananas

There is an Allen wrench screw the holds the pointer, to the mast with a piece of metal spot welded to the mast where it attaches. That is all.

It is in the shop manual In a diagram.

Let me know if you need that, and I'll dig out the manual and post pics.

Thank you, that is what it looks like, but the paint is perfect on the pointer with no sign of being in direct contact with a set screw. Now I can move forward with the column change.
