Hello everybody i'm new to this Buick world..HELLO to Everybody!!

I just baught a 65 skylark, but i'm looking for help in the engine department. the car has a v8-300, everything seems stock.
The previous owner "squeezed" some headers in there, i personally want to take them off and put new ones that fit and look nice. any suggestions?
i also want to put a 2bb carburator, it has a 4bb but it seems to strong for a v8-300.
any help will be greatly appreciated.

    65's forever

Glad to have another '65 person here. Those headers might not be easy to get another set and the price of another set might take you by surprise.
There is a fellow named Sean Easton who has a 300 motor that runs with the Big Blocks so keep an eye out for his posts.
He had a very informative post last year on the Buick Club of America website but I'm not sure if it's still available , I'll see if I can find it.
