Definitely power vents! Nicely optioned even though no A/C. Who needs A/C in Canada right? I've always loved the door panels on the Wildcat customs,.... super sharp!
That's the best way to buy a Wildcat; in the Custom trim. This one looks like it's on an original motor; - might be a bit wheezy by now, but certainly a good candidate for a rebuild. The ad has no price, and I don't know how much English the guy would speak. It's certainly worth a look.
Anyone notice that the firewall color looks like body color. Thought after '62 they were all black. I thought by '65 they were ALL black. Tom T.
I see what you mean Tom. In the underhood pic it kinda looks like original paint. Maybe Canadian cars were different spec?
It's possible. A car assembled in Canada would still have the firewall painted body colour, and not black. The US made Buicks I've seen were all black, however the Canadian built ones were a mixed bag. I guess it entirely depends on the plant.
Canadian car for sure as the power vents were not an option from US plants. I would agree on firewall colour too.
