I'd like to clarify something ... GM part numbers are 7 digits (nowadays, they are up to 8 digits). They've been 7 digits for many many years. The "391924" number is missing a digit somewhere.
That's a correct part number. For a replacement, try HR-122 or HR-28 Both of those look similar in function, but cosmetically not like the original.
You are mistaken. It is the original parts number. Take a look at the 66 GM parts manual sometime or the 70 for that matter and note the number of digits. It is also cross referenced on the Ebay ad I posted.
This is the one that Jim found for me on E-bay. Like it was stated, it is cosmetically different. But, it should function just fine. Once I recieve it I will post an update on how it functions. Most imposrtantly to me, I will not have to cut and splice the wiring hasnesses to make it work. It will at leasts allow me to keep that look simililar. When I first called the local part stores they were trying to sell me a relay that needed to rewire the whole system to get it to work. It would of functioned just fine. It just wasn't the look I wanted. HR121
