    1966 BUICK RIVIERA GS

I am listing this for a friend, please contact him direct with any questions..

Up for sale is a 1966 Buick Riviera GS (GRAN SPORT), all original with original title issued October 30, 1967. Also included is a recall notice from GM, and owners manual. Original sale price noted as $2865.58. This is an incredible example of the GM muscle car. The vehicle is being sold as a total restoration or as a parts car. It has the 425 c.i. motor that does not run, but comes with original air cleaner and finned head covers. It is also equipped with posi-traction and quick-steering, bucket seats with center console. Those in the know don't need further clarification and know what the parts alone are going for today. Asking $4000.00 OBO. Additional pictures are on ebay at listing # 190721825138. Please do not hesitate to call Johnny for questions at 847-375-1800.

THE DUAL-QUADS AND PARTS IN THE TRUNK ARE NOT INCLUDED, BUT FEEL FREE TO CALL WITH OFFERS!!!

I do not think he could get 4K even if the 2 fours stuff in the trunk were included.

When I first saw the pics, I was like sweet dual quads in back! and then read the post :(

It feels good to be one of those "in the know" however :)

I say maybe half that price with everything in the trunk.

    $4000.00? :Dou:

That looks like the price as a used car.
The base price when new was somewhere around $4500.00.

Too bad it's rusted through, at least on the body panels. Finding parts for a 66 is not all that easy, either. The OBO in this economy would end up being at least $1k less than what he's asking.

Just another POS rusty car out here in Illinois.

People around here like to sell cars that should be scrapped.

Yeah that my bosses car,it's a shame that it sat for so long before he got it .ebay car just trying to recoup his money. Cool car blue wit blue interior. Probably end up parting it.

I'd put some time into cleaning it up some, and If the dual quad parts in the trunk aren't included, he probably shouldn't even picture them or mention them at all.

Posting shows (for me) as being pulled, no longer available. I understand trying to get your money back but if it was overpaid, then a well sorted ebay auction would be a better way to move it, for corrected market value.

I am having the same issue on another car, looking like about a 75-80% loss on my part. (Not one of the cars in my footer)

66 GS Rivieras are very nice cars worthy of restorations but like 99% of what is out there are upside down to start with and must be done for the love of the final result.

Parting it not sure in this economy if he can get back close to the $4000. Certainly the posi raises eyebrows but even those have limited market potential because of their weight/shipping issues. Plus you have a hard to move hulk after removal.

Wish I could have seen the photos. Sounds like a good $1500 car in this economy.
