Nice car, and cheap.. The remote start properly works by just turning the starter, so if it won't start without a little trothle you're wasting your time..
Agreed; nice car and cheap. I've seen some early remote starters using a dashpot to give the carb a little kick to engage the high idle, but they were notoriously hit-and-miss. Rolls had a problem with them catching fire and burning down. Others would crank the starter to the point of being red hot or failure. Can't wrap my mind around the yellow nailhead; - was the only colour the builder had available 1955 Ford Y-block yellow?
Looks like all the brackets and waterpump are painted yellow as well, so maybe it's just the color he got laying around..
Replacement '67 grille with '66 headlight doors...this thing may have been in a wreck. All-original....I think not.
