Looking at a 1966 Skylark GS, 401, 4spd, PS, PB, air car. It is original with buckets and a console. Car has a very solid straight body in primer. Interior is good but needs some pieces replaced such as armrests, dashpad, etc.
Runs and drives good. Trim, chrome, etc is mostly good. What would a reasonable price for such a car be?

Basically a running driving, SOLID car needing paint and some interior work...

Remember, this is a 4spd, air car..
    Thanks..

I don't know quite how to answer your question without pics, or a price given by the owner. Other important considerations are numbers matching, ?correct shifter(non-Hurst),etc....
The easy thing to do is to consider whether your life will be complete without the car. If not, buy it!
Then consider the projected cost of finding the parts as well as paint cost, etc. to get it in a condition you will be happy with. If you want a driver then it's a little easier. The value of a well restified '66 GS hardtop 4-speed is probably around 12000. A nice running correct and completely rustfree driver is probably around 8000.00. Dan
