1966 GS Skylark correct black..

    Looking for what people are using to get the correct "gloss" on the interior black for the 66.. Its not a gloss but satin seems a bit to dull.. I have played with some semi's that also seem to be a bit to glossy.. let me know what you have used. Thanks..

    I once used gloss black lacquer in a spray can and it turned out very nice. Not a full 'wet' gloss but a little grainy.
    Did it on a second car with a different brand and wasn't happy with the lower gloss result.
    It should be fairly glossy, more gloss than satin, closer to a semi-gloss. The old paint charts from back then recommended gloss lacquer but don't buff it out..... maybe a 90% gloss.
    Next time I'll use a spray gun with a touch of flattener in the mix.
