I found a 66 Riviera in a junkyard today. The car is complete with the exception of a couple pieces of trim. The interior is white and in good condition. If anyone is in need of anything let me know I'll help anyway I can. Kraig
did the 66 still have the dropout style centersection on the rear? I'm interested in a quote if its a posi.
Pipe's U-pull it Ted, yes it is still there, but the name has changed. I think it changed owners. Do I dare ask how you know about Bossier City? Kraig
My grandparents lived in Heflin several years ago and while visiting, I made the rounds to the salvage yards. That area was rich with old cars .Hope it is still the same. That (formally) Pipe's yard is located near a runway for Barksdale AFB and it was amazing to see B-52 bombers taking off and landing so close. You could even see the pilot's face,it was so close. I also had checked out a '64 Riviera with dual quads that was at a car lot in Bossier City. I sure would like to make another road trip there again!. Ted
I can only wish it's my father's 66GS which was Tboned about ten years ago in MS. I'd like the 4 note horns, the side turn lights, the strato bench seat with recliner passenger side, aluminum valve covers, chrome air cleaner. Just dreaming...
Dreaming Mike, It never hurts to dream. This car is in real good condition. There is very little rust on the car and the interior is in real good shape. I just wish I could find a skylark this complete. The few I've been able to find have either been rust buckets or stripped shells. Hopefully I can help someone out that needs some parts and this car has many to offer. Kraig
Deck Lid If I remember correctly the deck lid is in real good shape. I called the guy and he wants $125 for it. I will be going back up there on Monday. Send me a PM if you want me to pick it up and we can work out the details. Kraig
Dan I'm not setting the prices the junkyard is. I'm only trying to help out fellow Buick owners with a real nice car that has alot to offer those in need. California car it might not be, but this car is in real good shape for even NW Louisiana. I could only wish I could find a 1970 skylark with this many usable parts. Kraig
