I have decided to part ways with my Skylark, as my first-gen Monte Carlo I took apart in 2012 needs some love. It’s a beautiful car with driver-quality paint that deserves to be driven. Still have original paper work from the actual little old lady who owned it first. Car is not stock. Have receipts from when 455 was installed in 2013 and a lot of the parts that went into the build. The former 700R4 sprung a leak and I replaced it with a Jegs 4L65E with Fitech controller in December of 2021, and have put around 1100 miles on it since then. All aftermarket suspension, rear axle is a 10-bolt out of a Chevelle with 3.73 gears and posi, Fitech Go-EFI 600 with under hood surge tank, 4-wheel power disc brakes, custom HID bi-xenon headlights, CarHex steering box, new Firestone tires in 2021 as well. Long list of other parts I will update when I get a moment to review everything. Car starts, runs, and stops as well as any of my modern cars, and with the Dynomax Super Turbo mufflers and Vibrant resonators, it is aggressive without being overbearing. Car is not perfect, has some rust on bottom rear corner of passenger door and rear corners of trunk lid, but underside is clean and only has surface rust. $20K, located in SW GA, right outside Fort Benning. Can deliver a reasonable distance for cost of fuel and trailer rental.
