    It's a 340 and a 67 steering column.

Good catch! Suppose you could consider the collapsible column a safety upgrade, has the 4 way flasher too (if they're connected). I'm surprised the column fit a 66.

i used to put 67 columns in 66s all the time..its a bolt in..i would move the pins around on the comb to match the 66 and the turn signals would work

Is that a good going price for a non running NOM, bench seat 66 GS hardtop?

I have relisted it on ebay, item number 392074527510, with the new reserve price. If you would take the trouble to read the listing I have everything I can think of about the car since I have owned it the last 14 years. I did not say the 340 and 400 transmission was the original drivetrain or that the 67 column was original. It is a decent 66 Gran Sport that like so many of these old cars has had some repairs and modifications over the years. It runs, stops and drives as I stated in the ebay listing. If you don't think it is priced fairly that's fine, I see much worse cars priced way higher. As for you nitpicking "experts" the only thing I can say is read the listing before making your comments. I am selling the car to an interested buyer, not to amuse someone who has nothing better to do than run their jaws to make them appear like a big shot know it all Buick guy.

  11. I think you might have the car listed in an incorrect category and you may not get the exposure you want. this is where you have it listed now according to Ebay. it appears to be in the advertising category

That is great advice Bob, I don't know how it got listed that way to start with. I took your suggestion and relisted it in the proper category. The new ebay item number is 392076826440 Thanks for the heads up!!!

It's actually surprising eBay hasn't pulled it down for incorrect catagory - cars for sale are a different animal on ebay

Ok guys, I have relisted it on ebay, item number 392087733090 at a bargain basement reserve of $6995.00 The car is what it is and not even close to perfect but at this price you have a car you can drive while you work on it. I always get comments on what a good looking car it is and it still gets a lot of attention any time I have it out.
