I have a skylark I'm working on but the brake package im running requires me to put 17' or bigger wheels. I was wondering if someone had a set-up on 17' or bigger wheels with tire set-up and pictures to take a look. i think 18-20 is maximum for me. I just want some ideas or suggestions. Width is my biggest concern without having to mini-tub

Yes, take a look at my pics. They are 17x7's (w/215/50ZR17) all the way around. I also went with the 4 disc brake upgrade. It's a great upgrade. Stops on a dime. I had to have my rear end narrowed so that I could still run skirts. You won't if you don't run them.

That last pic was just after installing the narrowed rear, but before the brake upgrade.

My 66 has 17x7 with 4 1/2 back spacing in the front with 235/40/17 and the rear is 17x8 with 5 inches of back spacing. 255/45/17. She is bagged and they fit pretty well. The front brakes are a narrow track brake kit with a drop spindle. But that size of tire would fit fine on a car that's not to low.
