What is the correct procedure in revoving this and the wiper arms?I don't want to damage either one.

To remove the wipers, carefully pry outward on the metal tabs at the hub of the arm and work the arm back and forth to tease it off the hub. Remove the screws at the front of the cowl and tilt it upward to unhook it from the body. To remove the wiper transmission, take a small screwdriver to the clip at the motor arm and carefully tease the clip off without breaking the lock-tab. Then unscrew the wiper hubs from the underside and pull them downward. I find it easiest to take them out from the passenger side. Remember when repainting to recreate the black phosphate finish(flat black Rustoleum works), as most of these cars have benn repainted, and the wipers are now body color. Hope this helps....Dan
