I need two of the black acorn shaped aerial hold down nuts. Both of them on my 67's are cracked and aerials are loose. One parts house had them listed at one time but can't find them any more. Seems like a good project for a 3 D printer but not sure how you would get the threads right on the inside. Anyone have one or two of these you want to sell? Thanks for looking,
The supply must have dried up on those things. They used to be listed on ebay ALL the time! I should have bought a few when I had the chance. I'm glad you were able to find a couple Chuck.
Absolutely Nick, on ebay constantly flea markets, everywhere. I have about a dozen of them and about the same in antenna masts tucked away in my storage unit in PA. I have broken my mast off more than once putting a heavy cover on, so now I always take it off each time.
